I am a colleague in West Hollywood, California, of Dr. Zimbardi-LeMons. This book is a lovely chronicling of his and his husband's quest to adopt two wonderful sons. It is informative about the foster/adoption process in Los Angeles County, it is heartwarming in the ups and downs on the road along the way, it is funny, and it is a good read for anyone who has ever experienced love within a family, or would like to. That's pretty much everyone! You don't have to be gay or lesbian to enjoy and appreciate this inspiring story. Love makes a family. Highly recommended for everyone who would like to learn more specifically about how gay-headed families "work" -- and they do "work", joyfully, lovingly, and inspiringly.
